Today, the best volunteer leaders of Youth Opportunities NGO got together at Dushanbe zoo for monitoring the zoo areas improved by volunteers during 2007 - 2009 at the project funded by the American Association of Museums (AAM) through a State Department program with the Museums and Community Collaborations Abroad (MCCA).
The meeting was also to enjoy the time by sharing ongoing news, remember our efforts on building playground, lion's den, garden area and try to reinforce ourselves to keep what we have created for the zoo and visitors.
A week earlire to the meeting, there was an invitation for the team to spend $45 at Chicken place to enjoy some food and drinks. But vs Chicken place, a new idea on how to spend $45 was shared throught the team to improve the zoo and even try to fundrise some extra money to expand our volunteer opportunities. Read more

The playground area for Dushanbe zoo is under construction. Volunteers of Youth Opportunities NGO assemble and install playground equipment. The stage first is to assemble and install playground equipment. The stage second is the Playground Safety Project and to create landscape design.
